Google had released a new “Chrome for a Cause” extension which enabled users to choose to donate their opened tabs to one of five causes at the end of each day. Tree planting, clean water, shelters, vaccinations, and books were among the 5 choices of which to donate your tabs. Chrome users have raised a total 60,599,541 tabs equaling to $1 million dollars.
