The BlackBerry Curve has long been a favorite among BlackBerry users. Known for its great messaging capabilities, the device had little to offer, though, in terms of functionality that “stood out” from the rest of the crowd. Well, it looks like things are looking up for the Curve, because an image of the BlackBerry Curve Touch has recently been leaked!

The device (left) is codenamed “Malibu” and lacks the physical keyboard that the original Curve has. As of now, early specs include an 800MHz Qualcomm MSM8655 processor, a 3.25-inch HVGA screen, a 5 megapixel camera with HD video, 1GB storage with microSD expansion and 512MB of RAM, GPS and NFC. While the specs are pretty mid-range now, they are subject to change once the device passes preliminary testing and such. The device is due to hit the consumer market late 2011 or early 2012.
