Details of the new BlackBerry Storm 3 have recently been released, revealing impressive specifications. It will have an optical trackpad and a 800 x 480-pixel display, which is the highest resolution display among other BlackBerry smartphones. RIM might change the branding name, possibly Monaco or Monza instead of Storm. It apparently will be released around September of this year in two or three versions globally. Be prepared to be amazed. Sharp decided to cover a room at their CES booth with 64 huge LED TVs, including three walls, the ceiling, and the floor. They’re all synced up to display one wraparound image, effectively making five-sixths of a holodeck, and it is amazing! They call this the i3 Wall, which uses 64 60-inch professional HDTVs. Korean designer Choi Sanghwi has come up with a concept of the ‘Carrot,’ a solar-powered portable speaker that connects to your music player. Its case is made of ABS plastic and the speaker itself is made of aluminium. It also has solar panels with titanium coating that allows you to save energy when you’re open-air. More »
