SMS messages are virtually free to all mobile companies, yet they are able to rip us off by charging us 10 cents per message. It’s basically a great way for them to make infinite profit since everyone pretty much texts, including myself. ABI research had a prediction that seven TRILLION SMS messages are going to be sent in the year 2011. Is that even possible? Then how much can mobile companies get out of this? We saw a lot of DSLRs and digital cameras being able to shoot 1080p video, but starting this year (actually starting today!), we will be able to shoot videos at 4K using Canon DSLRs thanks for a third party firmware. 4K basically is quadrupling the regular 1080p resolution to 4096×2304 resolution. The only problem with it is the storage capacity. Since it runs out pretty quickly, the video can only be recorded for six seconds. But if you don’t care about that, why not take your Canon T2i and experiment with it? More »
