Sony Japan has recently updated their websites for the NEX-3A, NEX-3K, and the NEX-3D, stating that they would stop producing all the three models of the camera. Customers also aren’t able to buy them online anymore. This is quite surprising as the NEX-3 line was just launched a few months ago.

The 3D model isn’t available on Sony’s Japanese online store anymore, but the other two models are still available. There is no official announcement from Sony Japan yet, nor from Sony Global and Sony Europe. However, those three models are still available in the US store.

maybe it’s not ‘good looking’.. there numbers of cool cameras with nice design in the market! thx for sharing!


I wonder why they’re doing this. were the sales not good enough? or are they planning to come out with a even better one??
I don’t own the nex-3 camera but by looking at the pictures, it doesn’t seem too bad.
anyways we’ll have to wait until an official statement.
