Apple is said to be planning to develop smaller and cheaper models of the iPhone to address the competition against Android in the smartphone market. The new model would also be compatible on multiple wireless networks for a price of only $200 without any contract. Canon will be launching its new PowerShot HS camera line, which uses the CMOS sensor technology to better catch images in low light, clean up noise and widen the dynamic range. On Tuesday, Mike Abramsky, RBC Capital Markets General Manager, reveal the firm’s estimation for the sales of the Verizon iPhone 4 during its first week on the market. They believe that early first week sales will go beyond 1 million units sold. At launch, Channel inventory is estimated to be between 1 and 1.5 million units. AT&T are set to launch an unlimited “Mobile to Mobile” scheme that will begin on the 10th February 2011. Not much has been revealed about the plans as of yet. But user will be required to pay $20, and will have an unlimited text messaging plan will be available. There are recently rumors saying that Apple might be launching the iPad 3 in Fall 2011 to match their annual iPod releases and the holiday season. It started when Daring Fireball guessed that the release of the HP TouchPad ‘might bump up against the release of the iPad 3,’ which would run the iOS 5.1.
