Only now has the Fujifilm X100 camera been made official after a view at CES. The camera doesn’t cut any corners- there’s a DSLR-level 12 megapixel APS-C sensor, a 480×320 LCD, a 23mm (35mm equivalent) F/2 prime lens and a “hybrid viewfinder” which doubles as a as a hgih-res EVF (800×600) and a regular optical rangefinder using the LCD to display extra information- a dedicated switch is in place for rapid switching. Because upon Apple’s suggestion to use iPads during in-class action, the legislators are debating whether to scrap the textbooks. Republican Senate President pro tem Tommie Williams said “Last week we met with Apple, and…for $500 per child per year, they will furnish every child with an iPad, Wi-fi the system, provide all the books on the system, all the upgrades, all the teacher training – and the results they’re getting from these kids is phenomenal”. Ningen Gakki, a little gadget developed by Japanese toy maker Takara Tomy, can turn the body of a human being into a musical instrument. Electrodes are incorporated in the four silver parts of the toy and when up to four players touch each other’s skin it creates various sounds. More »
