Amazon has released a new commercial for the Kindle, taking aim at its competitor, the iPad. The commercial shows the fact that there are over 800,000 titles in the Kindle book store, and mentions the long battery life of the Kindle. It also highlights the difficulty of reading on the iPad in direct sunlight, while the Kindle is perfectly visible in direct sunlight. Notice that all of the actors in the commercial seem to be in their twenties and thirties, hinting that Amazon is targeting a younger demographic.
