For the past couple months, Google has been releasing multiple new search features for the iPhone and Andriod-powered smartphones that make it much simpler to find local businesses and restaurants. Now for the US, they have launched a new feature that will allow the user to only filter restaurants/business that are open, based on their listed hours. This will become really useful when you have a sudden craving for Chinese food at 11 at night.

As you can see, Google has also added pictures of the location, reviews, and larger buttons for getting directions or calling in. Business hours are also shown underneath the address.

Is anybody else planning on using this new search feature?

Oh, that’s really cool! Don’t have a smartphone, so that doesn’t really help me, but I’m sure it’ll help people who have smartphones and...like you said, craving chinese food at 11 pm at night. XD

This is definitely a nifty feature! I don’t have a smartphone, so I have no need for it but I’m sure it’ll be used by many people.
