Amidst rumors over the past couple of weeks, Motorola officially announced recently that they would indeed be releasing a wi-fi only version of their new tablet, the Xoom. Retailing for $599, the wi-fi only Xoom, which will not be released until later this month, is now available for pre-order!

Currently, Amazon, Staples and Costco are taking pre-orders, and other retailers are expected to follow suit within the next week. For those of you that want your Xoom fast, I recommend pre-ordering at Staples, as they will be shipping the devices out on March 25th, two days before the official release on March 27th. Costco will be shipping their devices slightly later on April 1st.
