We reported that Google was in the process of making its own version of iTunes. Now the tech company is facing difficulties trying to launch this service. It’s been working on this cloud music service that’s supposed to be integrated with the Android platform since last year.

Said a source familiar to this situation: “Google’s negotiations with the big music labels are “broken.” There’s definitely a problem with the Google music conversations. They’ve gone backwards.”

Others have said that Google is continuing to plow through and intent on making things move forward. However, some are discontent towards other labels that Google keeps changing its demands at the last minute.

In the meantime, Apple is rumored to be revamping its MobileMe services that would allow its users to store their stuff in the cloud and use any Apple device to access it. They are in midst of talking with record labels.

Seems like Google’s stuck in a rut and Apple isn’t.

Yeahh..not sure how well this would do anyways. itunes just kindda dominates.
