On Thursday, the FCC began to look into AT&T’s proposed acquisition of T-Mobile. In order for AT&T to get T-Mobile however, they first need the approval of the FCC. This is currently causing some major controversy in the US because if this were to occur, that would mean that AT&T and Verizon would own 80% of the wireless market. Texting while driving is definitely a serious safety issue. Not only are your eyes not on the road, but both of your hands aren’t on the wheel either. You’re putting a whole lot of other people that are also on the road in danger because you would probably have a slow reaction time from your distraction.
