Kingston has finally decided to upgrade its ancient USB flash drives. The first generation of its DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 could only read at a speed of 80MB/sec. Now the second generation of the flash drive can read 100MB/sec and write 70MB/sec when plugged into a USB 3.0 port.

If you plug it into a 2.0 port, you’ll get speeds of 30MB/sec for both reading and writing. But for this awesome speed, you’ll be forking over a bit more money. The 16GB, 32 GB, and 64GB drives will cost you $77, $116, and $213, respectively.
