Amazon has just launched its new Mac Download Store, its latest store within store after their Android store. Along with over 250 titles already available for download directly from Amazon’s website, Amazon has also added a $5 discount on any Mac game or software product purchased until June 1, 2011.

Other titles available from Amazon that are not listed on the Mac App Store include Microsoft’s Office Collections and games by EA, Aspyr and Feral. Also, once a purchase is made with the new Mac Download Store, it is provided as a standard Mac install file ready for download and stored in your Amazon digital locker for future access. The store seems really simple, yet it has so many different titles. I think it looks like the Mac Download Store is off to a great start!
