Belkin has now come up with a new adapter that will allow people to have more options to add WiDi to their TV. The ScreenCast TV adapter from Belkin has been unveiled on the company’s website and has a “coming soon” message attached to it.
The FCC recently got a copy of this adapter’s background plus adapter, so if approved, the adapter could be making its way to store shelves very soon. It comes with an HDMI port and some RCA inputs in the back and supports 1080p video and Dolby Digital 5.1 sound that can be linked to a WiDi-capable Windows 7 laptop. It will cost around $129.
