It has been recently announced that Wikipedia will soon be adding a new feature called the “WikiLove” button with a purpose to encourage the contributors to keep editing the information despite any corrections and criticisms made by others.

The button will also allow users to send each other messages of encouragement to keep the contributes motivated and preventing others from getting down from hate messages.

The new feature will most likely be available starting Wednesday. You can have the option of disabling it as well. While this experiment is running, the Wikimedia Foundation will be keeping track of how frequently WikiLove is used and how effective it will be.
