Spotify, the new music streaming service that debuted just last week in the US, has shown that people are actually its concept. Gaining 70,000 paid US subscribers in just the first week after its launch in North America.

For comparison, the Europe version of the service (which is where it started) has managed to gain 1.6 million subscribers in two years, so in comparing the two, it definitely seems like the US is well on its way to grow US Spotify to that point.

At $10/month, the subscription gains you access into the gigantic library that lets you listen to music that feels like your own, since you can access it at anytime, anywhere.

Anyone get into the trial to try out Spotify yet?
