Weighing in at just over a pound but with a 12.3MP sensor that rivals a regular DSLR, the PEN E-PM1 is Olympus‘ newest addition to their popular PEN camera series.

As the current smallest model, it is also a micro four-thirds camera, who have gained their reputation about being able to provide DSLR-quality photos without having to lug around a bulky camera. The PEN E-PM1 in particular will be arriving this September in six different colors for just $499.

- In-Camera Art Filters (applicable to both still and HD video)
- Customizable Aspect Ratios
- In-camera image editing options
- 3-inch (460K) LCD screen
- 1080/60i HD video in AVCHD or AVI with Dolby Digital Sound Recording
- 3D Photo Mode (saved as a .MPO file)
- Auto ISO sensitivity from 200 – 12800
- SDHC/SDXC/UHS-1 memory card support
- 3 soft buttons that can be customized to work with your favorite camera functions
- Compatible with MSC (Movie & Still Compatibility) lenses
