We all know that mostly the purpose of the iPad is for playing games, watching movies, listening to music and for education purposes. However, did you know that in Oregon people are now using the iPad for voting during special elections?
Through the use of their portable iPads and printers, officials will now be bringing this in places like nursing homes, parks and community centers in order to grab more votes to replace David Wu. However, people have been informed that they will just be using the iPads in order to send the choices to the portable printer to be printed out and to be mailed to the state.
Additionally, Apple has currently donated five iPads to Oregon while the state spent around $75,000 for the software.
