Localytics have, with their analytics platform, found out that 56% of iPhone 4S users are on the carrier AT&T to source their voice and data services. Verizon arrive at second place with 32% and Sprint last at 12%.

The results are not totally accurate since not every user uses Localyptics apps, but there is a rough indication there. It’s not surprising that AT&T come out on top as it has more iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 than the other carriers. Therefore, those wanting an Apple upgrade would most likely be circulated round AT&T anyway. AT&T are the only ones offering 4G and GSM for the iPhone 4S, which may be another big clue as to why it’s on top.

Do you own an iPhone 4S? What carrier are you on?
