Spotify has announced that it now has 2.5 million paying subscribers. The company didn’t give any country breakdown so we don’t know from which country most subscribers are.

It is being assumed that the number has been increasing since it was launched in the US, as the company hit 1 million paying subscribers in March, before the US launch. The integration with Facebook might as well be another important factor of this growth.
