The Asus Transformer tablet series is one of the best known in the markets. Now, there is a new one that is also preparing for launch called the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime. This is can also be so called a beast much like all we remember, Optimus Prime, in Transformers. One of the main factor on which the Transformer Prime is a beast is its processor: a jaw dropping quad-core mobile chip.

The Project Kal-El is definitely not a new thing to those that have been keeping tabs with the mobile processor development. The project by NVIDIA aims to produce a blazing fast mobile processor and the result is the NVIDIA Tegra 3 which will have its debut in the Asus Transformer Prime.

What even better is that the price of the Transformer Prime isn’t too expensive either. At $499 for the 32GB version, it costs the same as a 16GB iPad2 or the Galaxy Tab 10.1. With more features and powerful specifications, expect this device to rule the market.
