Until the end of the year, Verizon is reportedly offering up to $300 trade-in for used phones on any carrier in southern states. With this in-store trade-in program, customers can bring a used phone to any Verizon store and get instant credit for a new phone with service.

The program is available in southern states including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. Smartphones will be evaluated by an in-store rep before being exchanged with a respective amount of credit, while non-smartphones will automatically receive a $50 credit.

This is surely a nice program for the holiday season, so if you’re a southern US resident and have a no-longer-used phone, go to a Verizon store before the year ends!
