10 odd looking phones

We all know that every month we see quite a number of cellphones getting launched by famous cellphone brands like Samsung, Nokia, Motorola, Blackberry and others. However, in these mountain full of cellphones to choose from, we always stumble upon really weird phones which leave us to stare or imagine as to how that specific phone would actually function or look like in the palm of your hands. Below are some of the phones I find odd looking.

1. Nokia Gem

Launched way back to the time when Nokia was celebrating their 25th anniversary, the weird thing about this phone is that it changes its appearance from a camera to a phone or to a map depending on the function your are currently using. Both the front and the back of the phone are capable of doing many things, which is quite confusing if you ask me. since your friends might get confused as to which button they must click.

2. Solar Powered Cellphone

Although this may phone may be an environment friendly phone, the fact that you have to attach all those weird looking stickers into your phone before using it is quite odd. I mean what if you were stuck in an emergency? I don’t think I would waste my time sticking some stickers into my phone before making a call

3. Nokia 888

First it was the Nokia Gem, now its the Nokia 888. I just wonder as to why Nokia loves making odd phones these days. The Nokia 888 may be called the futuristic phone because according to them this phone may be bended into a form of a wrist watch or a clip to hand in your pants. But… exactly how do you make calls and send out text messages with such a small screen. Hmm..

4. Cigarette Phone

A two-in-one phone made from China, which functions as a cellphone and a cigarette case. Although I think it would look cute for a cellphone design, I think it was a bad idea for China to make phones like this since it seems like they’re trying to promote their people to smoke some cigarettes.

5. Matchbox cellphone

Similar to the cigarette phone above this is a two-in-one phone, but instead of packing cigarettes inside it, it serves as a portable matchbox set! In case you need to light some candles for your friend’s birthday, you’ll definitely need one of these. I wouldn’t mind getting one for myself.

6. The Hand Phone

Remember the time when you used to play around with your friends, and using your hand as a phone? The gesture where you extend your thumb and pinky to your until your ear and mouth? Well, there’s actually a phone made for that. Definitely not getting myself one of those. I don’t want my hand to get tired if I talk to long in the phone now do I?

7. Pillow Phone

Talking on the phone can be really tiring especially when you don’t have anywhere to sit or lie down on. However, this pillow phone is definitely one helpful cellphone. Imagine yourself lying down on the bed and talking to your family or friends. Now wouldn’t that be much more relaxing compared to a not so soft chair? This is really useful too because you can sleep on it as well!

8. Cellphone Gun

Nokia is at it again with their weird phones! This time its a cellphone gun. Basically, I don’t even have a clue as to why Nokia invented this in the first place. Its not like everyone’s going to be some serial killer who massacres people with a gun.

9. Soft Phone

Soft phone is quite a useful one especially when you don’t really like bringing gigantic phones in your pocket because it feel uncomfortable. With this phone, you can hang it anywhere whether its your pocket or your wallet. This is a really cool phone and i definitely want one of these. It makes me feel special in a way seeing how others don’t have it.

10. Hamburger Phone

Last but not the least, an adorable hamburger phone! Featured in the famous movie “Juno” you simply have to prevent kids from touching this phone because the next time you see it, it might not function anymore because of them. Although, it is a cute phone that I want to but for myself.
