Intel are hoping to make it big with their Medfield processor in the first half of next year. The chipset for these will be manufactured by no other than LG, who will be revealing a smartphone with the processor running on it at CES 2012.

Rumors about LG being the ones to manufacture devices with Medfield have now proved to be true thanks to Korea Times reports.

According to a senior LG executive, the company will be showing off one of their own devices with the processor during CES 2012. There’s no more detail than that so we’ll have to wait until the even to see the device and possible other Medfield processor devices…
