You first knew of movies in their traditional 2D goodness. Then came the 3D craze in which directors and movie studios thought that the experience would just be that much better in 3D. If 3D wasn’t enough, then guess what? 200 US cinemas will soon allow you to experience movies in 4D.
Created by CJ Group from Korea, 4D won’t let you feel an extra dimension, but rather, your other senses will be able to experience something. You know, feeling vibrations from your seats, smelling the rain/flowers/gunpowder. These cinemas will have to spend $1 million renovating their theaters and apparently, it’s popular in Asia, or so CJ Group claims.
Bring on the 4D!
