By now it’s already made the newswires across the internet, but Hulu, the free video service, is planning to go with a subscription model. The latest addition to the Windows 7 monitor war is the HP Compaq L2105tm, redesigning Windows 7 to fit its 21 inch CCFL mutli-touch screen. The multituch is integrated into the monitor with the help of two cameras and an infrared light and sensor, all combined with a reflective field.

This technology is so good, that even the slightest bit of pressure on the screen will set off the multitouch capabilites, which in some cases is not such a good thing. The HP Compaq L2105tm monitor provides brightness up to 270cd/m2, 5 ms response time, 1000/1 contrast ratio, and 170/160 viewing angles which is an amazing achievement for a comuter monitor. More »
