The Wall Street Journal cites a close source that claims Sony is plotting to take a big bite out of Apple’s iPhone and iPad. Supposedly, a PSP Phone and an iPad-like e-reader/tablet are in development. More »


Appleinsider is reporting that a new Apple Mac Mini with HDMI output has been spotted. Currently, the Mac Mini uses mini-DisplayPort and mini-DVI as digital output. Many Apple owners have been clamoring for HDMI Macs for years. Appleinsider also claims that the new Mini might use the NVIDIA MCP89 chipset, which is the replacement for the NVIDIA 9400m. More »


According to a survey by Morgan Stanley in 2008, the unit’s cost, service plan cost, upfront payment, and contract length were the top four largest barriers for consumers when considering an Apple iPhone. A Morgan Stanley analyst expects Apple to unveil new, less expensive iPhones in June. More »
