The Google Android OS and I share one big thing in common: Dessert. I am, hands down a big fan of dessert. When it comes to nicknaming Android updates, Google feels the same way. So far in both alphabetical and chronological order there’s the Cupcake, Donut, Eclair and Flan. Out of sheer boredom and because I love both dessert and Android, I’ve taken on the task of listing out Android update nicknames that need to happen. More »

When it comes to social networking sites, I have to admit that I am kind of e-slutty and all over the place. Myspace, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter…you name it and I am pretty much all over it. Since I’m all over the place when it comes to social networking sites, it’s really easy to become so disorganized when it comes to logging into these sites, reading updates, commenting, messaging and friending. It’s all very daunting to even think about. Despite this, my resolution for this year is to be more organized and on top of things in the world of social networking sites. More »

From Ningin: A big surprise from the Sony and Panasonic team. Each of the two 25GB layers has been refined to 33.4GB per layer. They have been working on a refinement for a while now, as the weakest chain in their technology is NOT their lasers. Why fix the body when you can fix the brain? How does this work, without buying any additional parts? A firmware update (FREE DOWNLOAD) to your blu-ray player or PS3 will tell your lasers to read more precisely and pack data more closely within the same space efficiently. (Improving error check.) Look at a gadget with a small screen and dial pad and you know it’s a mobile phone. Gadget with a viewfinder and lens? It’d be as clear as day that it’s a camera, right? A box where you stick cold food in only to receive it warm a minute later? No brainer there — it’s a microwave. But how about those questionable looking gadgets? The ones that make you scratch your head and say, “huh?” For you my friends, I have a particular gadget that is making me do just that. Based on two images, can you guess what it is and what it does?
