From Htcyou: AdMob statistics show that in the fourth quarter of 2009, the iPhone and Android smartphone operating systems accounted for 67% of all online advertisement views. Android marketing share quadrupled from 4% in Q1 to 16% by the end of last year. HTC’s drastically increased spending is part of the reason for Android’s rise. More »

Sony has been on an ad blitz the past few weeks, playing their panel of “experts” spots featuring Peyton Manning and Justin Timberlake, on almost every TV show. They’ve advertised the crap out of their products on TV spots to Hulu ads, magazine and even on YouTube. While some of these commercials have been playing for some time, Sony’s latest ones are pretty funny. Justin and Peyton make an odd but funny duo on the ads. You’ve probably seen those creepy Palm Pre ads with Tamara Hope that make absolutely make no sense and scare the heck out of you. The more I watch these commercials, the more I start to hate Palm Pre phone. It’s a great phone with a wonderful OS but if Palm continues to release these ads, it’ll just freak people out from buying the phones.
