Union Square has just recieved its first technological guest, their new flagship BestBuy store that is open 24 hours a day. If you’re in the neighborhood and want to buy that new Blu-Ray player you’ve been eyeing, then you can pick it up here. This will be the first Best-Buy in the world that is open 24 hours a day and carries every major tech brand. Apparently, BestBuy stores across the country also carry musical instruments now, about 80 stores nationwide. Yeah, we were surprised too. They also carry a full DJ section with live sound equipment. Portable HD Radio has finally hit store shelves. Yesterday Best Buy announced the Insignia NS-HD01, the first ever portable HDradio. The device isn’t much to look at, neither are the specs: rechargeable lithium-ion battery, standard 3.5 millimeter headphone jack, and color LCD. More »


Losing personal things are hard to deal with. Losing gadgets when you’re traveling is even tougher to swallow. Last week in a rush to meet with friends for dinner, I accidently left my $150 pair of Beats headphones in a coffee shop. Furious about not having access to music on my trip home, I decided to purchase a cheap pair of ear phones. I just lost $150 and put down another 15 for something I won’t even use for a week. If you’re one of those people waiting for the latest technology, then keep waiting for the PS3. It will come eventually.
