According to statistics from StatCounter, Google’s Chrome 15 has overtaken Internet Explorer 8 in the charts of the most popular web browsers in the world. Microsoft’s long-standing (i.e. a decade long!) web browser, Internet Explorer has started to decline as the web browser many use - in fact, under half the world’s web users use it! A little of this is due to the introduction of mobile web browsing over the recent years as well as the popularity in Google Chrome. More »

At the recent Pwn2Own hack match, Google has promised to pay $20,000 to any team or individual who could successfully hack Chrome.
