At E3, Nintendo took the covers off its next DS handheld, the 3DS. The device features three cameras for 3D photography and a 3.53-Inch top screen complemented by 3.02-Inch version on the bottom. Also, the 3DS comes with a “motion sensor, a gyro sensor and even a Slide Pad that allows 360-degree analog input.” More »


On May 19th, Sony requested for the FCC to keep all PS3 filings confidential for 180 days. Today, two new Playstation 3 models have appeared on FCC’s website: CECH-2501A and CECH-2501B, both of which have the same specs except for different “HDD type.” More »


When MCV wrote that Sony was planning to showcase the PSP2 at E3, VG247 decided to delve deeper into the rumors and has concluded that with 99% certainty, the Playstation Portable sequel will not be shown at E3. However, “sources” have spilled the details about the system, and it looks insane. More »


In March, The Wallstreet Journal reported that Sony was developing a PSP Phone. MCV UK says that “a senior industry source” has told the website that Sony is likely to announce a PSP sequel, not a remake, at E3 next month. More »


MVC is writing that a “senior global publishing source” has told the website that Sony and Microsoft are both planning to drop the prices of their respective gaming consoles, possibly by E3 (June 15-17th). More »


Nintendo will be replacing the amazingly popular DS with a new system temporarily called the 3DS, which will allow gamers to enjoy “3D effects without the need for any special glasses.” The 3DS is scheduled for release on or before March 2011 and will be demoed at E3 in June. More »
