From Htcyou: HTC has confirmed that the Droid Incredible, Evo 4G, MyTouch Slide, and Desire are on the priority list to receive Android 2.2 updates, but none of them is getting the new OS until the second half of this year. Although HTC has not made a statement about 2009 models, the adverb that “most” 2010 units will get FroYo indicates to me that there is no chance for the likes of the G1, MyTouch 3G, and Droid Eris since not “all” 2010 smartphones will be upgraded. Make it “Photo and Video of the Day.” What you are staring at is rumored to be Google’s Android 2.2 “Froyo” operating system running on a Nexus One. One of the benefits (or blights, depending on your allegiances) of Google’s next smartphone OS is that Adobe Flash 10.1 is integrated. If this clip is genuine and is not simply a modified Android 2.1 or earlier ROM (I am not cognizant of an existing Android ROM that can run full Flash this well), then Ryan Stewart, the video’s uploader and self-professed Adobe “evangelist,” makes a cogent argument for Flash and Froyo.
