No one would have though that Google TV was ready for prime time when it launched last fall. More evidence of that has come to light. Logitech has reported that their Revue with Google TV set-top box and the accompanying gear generated only about $5 million in sales during the last quarter. More »

Epix has recently announced that it now offers movie streaming on Google TV and soon on mobile apps as well. They’re currently working on apps for Android tablets and phones from HTC, LG and Motorola. It will also work on the BlackBerry Playbook, Samsung TVs and Blu-ray players and Roku streaming players. Google TV have focused on linking with the education system. Apparently, the firm may have their TV boxes set around selected American school classrooms. This would make things such as television engineering, computer science, development of smart TV curricula and new educational tools much easier.
