Although this doesn’t come as a surprise, it’s still depressing. According to AllThingsD, HP will be cutting 500 jobs at the webOS department. Now that the TouchPad, Pre 3 and the small group of webOS devices that made it to market will be their last. HP has announced their intentions to continue supporting existing webOS customers.
