Talk about multi-tasking, there’s currently an iPad case that acts as both a keyboard and a screen protector. The keyboard works via Bluetooth and can fold out of sight when you don’t need it anymore. Simply ideal for people who use their iPads to respond to e-mails, write notes, and anything else that requires a keyboard (aka not me!). Full specs after the jump. More »

Do you wish that you could do more with your iPad? Feeling musically creative and want to express it? VJ Franz K has answered your dreams with a device onto which you can mount your iPad and play sweet melodies. More »

The idea is so simple and useful that I am perplexed as to why there are not more of them around: a compact wireless keyboard and mouse combo designed to work on your lap for couch typing/gaming/music listening/film viewing sessions. Phantom’s $130 Lapboard is literally an all-in-one KBM device whose full-size keyboard can swivel 360 degrees and be pulled up by 20 degrees, leaving the board underneath to act as a mousepad for the small laser mouse. In theory, the product is an HTPC dream, but does it work? More »

Before being switched ON, this gadget does not look like much and certainly not deserving of its $149.99 price. However, plug it into any computer, old pocketPC, and smartphone, and the ThinkGeek Bluetooth Laser Virtual Keyboard projects a full-size QWERTY keypad onto a flat surface. More »

Old Time Computer’s eBay auction features an elaborately Steampunk fashioned LCD monitor, wireless keyboard, wireless mouse, and mouse pad. More »

HTPCs are staples of many home theater systems. Thanks to inexpensive motherboards with decent integrated graphics from Intel and AMD, most budget HTPCs can be built for little. For many home theater set-ups the HTPC units are probably the cheapest components. However, HTPCs are still computers and need to be controlled. This $60 mini keyboard could be what you want. More »

Touch, touch touch! Everything technologically related seems to be following a trend that is ditching buttons and keys for touch screens and touch sensors. While touch keyboards and other related items have been explored before, attempts at making such products were largely unsuccessful. The new COOL LEAF line by Minebea is out to change that. More »
Going green is one thing but going to these extremes is just plain weird. This computer designed by Marlies Romberg is carved into wood and comes as a whole piece, table included. Marlies Romberg is a student at the Utrecht School of Arts and is a rebel against the likes of plastic and aluminum. (More pictures after the break) More »
Lifeworks has joined iHome, the makers of iPod speakers docks and alarm clock docks, to release a new keyboard that will allow you to dock your iPhone and iPod touch on the keyboard.
The new keyboard dedicates the entire left side to docking the iPhone/iPod touch devices. More »

Asus keeps laying on the innovations: another interesting product they demoed at the recent CeBIT was the Eee Keyboard PC, a full-blown home theater PC equipped with a 5″ 800×480 touchscreen where the numpad is typically found. The bevy of ports found in the back show how serious Asus is at making this a true HTPC: More »

ASUS turned a lot of heads at this year’s CeBIT with their new AIRO concept laptop, which has a keyboard that slides up as the laptop is being opened, to allow for components underneath to have better airflow, thereby eliminating the need for a fan and all the noise that comes with it. More »
