Looks like Amazon will have another competitor in the crowded eBook reader market. AUO, a display manufacturer, unveiled what looks like a cross between the Kindle 2 and the Sony eReader PRS 700 recently at a trade show in Taiwan.
It has the same 6-inch black and white screen with 600 x 800 pixel resolution as the Kindle 2 but also offers touch screen capabilities similar to that of the Sony PRS 700. More »
