Josh Silver of the Center for Vision in the Developing World has recently developed a new invention that has the potential to help millions around the world. AdSpecs are “Harry Potter” type glasses that have adjustable lenses. Using two flexible membranes, the lens can be adjusted via syringes that put in or take out fluid. More »


Contact lenses are quickly covering the tracks of glasses as they become a part of the past, but these contact lenses won’t be making onto eyes anytime soon. Just the thought of your eyes providing you with analytical information can flabbergast anyone.

‘Augmented Lenses’ is quickly becoming the newest vision correcting technology as trial and error tests are being conducted and the machinery in itself is on its way. In the lenses, there is a prototype that allows the user to see single crystal silicon components, compound semiconductor components, radio chips, minuscule antennae, and an LED. More »
