Tech author and 3G strategist Tomi Ahonen says that media brands should focus on MMS instead of creating apps, as most of the world still isn’t using smartphones. They should use SMS and MMS to reach those without smartphones, especially because MMS has 2.4 billion active users today. MMS platform seems to be ignored and should be taken more seriously. More »

iPhone MMS update finally came through, but is anyone else having problems with theirs? I can take the picture but when I try to send it, it says Error and when I hit try again, it doesn’t go through.

Today is a big day for the iPhone and AT&T. For those of you that have been waiting 3 long years to have the ability to do something that’s been a staple in most basic phones, the iPhone will finally get it today. Today is the day MMS finally comes to the iPhone.

AT&T is currently working side by side with Apple to bring MMS to the customers while battling the war of smartphone data usage. We’ll just have to wait and see if AT&T can continue to handle the increasing data usage from iPhone customers. More »
