Intel (silly, leave graphics to the big boys) is abandoning its “Larrabee” GPU and will channel its efforts into furthering the mediocre integrated graphics on its chipsets, but NVIDIA wants to put Fermi in a laptop by June. I go to school in Philadelphia. I don’t have a car. Great. To get around, I am forced to use public transportation. At the risk of sounding like a creeper, I think I would categorize myself as an avid people watcher. I think it’s interesting to observe different people in public and their habits. More »

From Girlybubble: First Docomo released the Q-Pot Melting Chocolate phones and now they’ve teamed up with Seventeen Magazine (Japan) to release the “SH-05B” on Feb. 5. For a phone that comes in two shades of pink and endorsed by Michelle Pfeifer in Grease 2, they couldn’t come up with a more creative name? Sounds a little drab next to “Melting Chocolate.” The pink shades the phone comes in are Yurukawa pink which means “loosely pink” and yancha pink which means “mischievous pink.” More »

You know what they say about people with huge phones. They probably have big ears. Especially big if you’re talking the world’s largest Nexus One phone that’s hanging out in the Google HQ lobby. Worth $600,000 USD, the world’s largest Nexus One phone has the same specs as the original CAD model, just 12 times bigger, with a 1920×1080 46-inch LED-backlit display. Personally, I think I’d make more use out of a standard human-sized Nexus One phone. More »

There is no doubt that 2009 has been a huge year for the mobile internet craze. Last year, mobile internet usage jumped an astounding 75% in the third quarter alone. Car companies are now trying to cash in on this new craze by developing technology for automobiles that makes them wireless hot spots. While Japan has already been using such technology as early as 1997 (no surprises there…), the Western world is still toying with different methods to try to make this new concept a success. Companies such as Mercedes and General Motors are exploring the development of their own separate hardware that will have to be purchased for internet use in the car. Ford, on the other hand, is exploring connectivity with preexisting USB modems that users may already have purchased for other services. More »

No word on how much or when Samsung will release their 14MP Digital CL80 Camera, but I have to say, it’s pretty sexy. Some of the features it boasts are a 31mm Wide Angle Lens, 14 Megapixels & 7x Optical Zoom along with an AMOLED screen and WiFi capability. While it does indeed sound sexy, it’s not the first AMOLED, WiFi capable digicam. Also, is WiFi capability all that necessary in cameras? More »
