Nintendo will be replacing the amazingly popular DS with a new system temporarily called the 3DS, which will allow gamers to enjoy “3D effects without the need for any special glasses.” The 3DS is scheduled for release on or before March 2011 and will be demoed at E3 in June. More »

For once the North American folks don’t get shafted again by Nintendo. Nintendo is set to make the Black Wiimote available this holiday season with a black Wii Jacket and a standalone black Nunchuck. I wish they were also rolling out a Black Wii but can’t hope for too much these days.

Nintendo is also rolling out two new colors for the Nintendo DSi, pink and white. Looks like Nintendo is finally giving us North American folks a much needed color change, especially for the, now very dull looking white Wiimotes. More »


The Nintendo DSi is officially a hit. After being launched 8 months ago in Japan, the DSi is nearing 7 million units sold. The exact number is 6.68 million units and will continue to increase as the one year anniversary looms in November. Black Friday and Christmas will be huge for Nintendo as they look to surpass 7 million units. More »
