The iPhone has been getting many competitors but no one is more worthy of a battle than the Nokia N900 which was unveiled late August. The Maemo OS flagship smart phone/MID mini tablet device, dubbed the N900, was created to have “Computer grade performance” and it’s obvious that it’s living up to this claim.

Nokia jumped onto the touchscreen smart phone wagon and lost to the iPhone but its making a comeback with a powerful phone and UI, which uses many gesture from the iPhone but still carries its own significance. One great gesture on the N900 is the “Hover and Manipulation mode” which is great when handling web pages on the iPhone sized, 3.5 inch screen. (Check out video after the break) More »
