At a recent company event, employees received a free Nexus One device. It has been rumored for quite awhile that Google has been planning on releasing its own phone; the Google phone. “Katie Watson, a Google representative, said on Sunday that the company has confirmed nothing about its plans for the Nexus One, described as a “dogfooding” experiment for internal testing by the company in a blog post Saturday” (CNN.com). Nokia is fighting back against it’s competitors with their latest release, the Nokia X6. This, my fellow techies is the new Sharp 941SH phone, a genius piece of tech with an amazingly sharp resolution. See, the iPhone has only 480×320 pixels while the new Sharp 941SH holds a staggering 480×1024, on only a 4inch screen. The guys over at Akihabara News snapped some photos of concept phones at Fujitsu’s Booth in this year’s CEATEC (Combined Exhibition of Advanced Technologies). The one pictured above is the KORA bracelet PC phone.

My particular favorite was the pen phone. It has a real Dick Tracy detective/spy feel to it. Too bad they are all concepts. I wouldn’t mind having a phone shaped like a soap dish. Go check out the whole gallery of photos.
