Amazon is cutting the price on their Kindle device again, the second time in 3 months. This time the price cut is $40, and down to $259:
“Kindle has revolutionized the way we purchase and read books, by making it mobile, easy and intuitive,” said Randall Stephenson, chairman and chief executive officer of AT&T. “We are excited to work with Amazon to help readers access books even faster and from significantly more places than ever before, including more than 100 countries and territories around the world through AT&T’s global wireless coverage.”
But that’s not all. Amazon is planning to release an international GSM version to more than a 100 countries for $279. The target audience for that version are US travelers going to international locations or those who speak primarily English in other parts of the world. More »
The Wii is finally getting a price cut according to a Toys R Us ad. The Nintendo Wii is going to drop to $199.99. It’s been three years since the Nintendo Wii has been out and It’s about time the Wii got the damn price cut!

Microsoft has finally responded to Sony’s price cut on the Playstation 3 with their own price cut. There’s a screen shot of the upcoming Target ad, that shows the 360 Elite ($299) and the Xbox 360 Pro at $250. The Elite dropped a $100 while the Pro dropped $50.
The price drop was rumored to be coming after Sony released their PS3 Slim. Microsoft was probably just waiting till they could see how much the price cuts were on the Playstation console before making their ow cut. More »
Looks like there might be a price cut for the Sony Playstation 3. Joystiq is reporting that during an overseas call with investors, Sony’s CFO and Executive VP stated that the cost of the Playstation has gone down 70 percent. That’s great news for everyone, if Sony does make a price cut. If not, then this is all BS. More »
