Let us play a game: regularly, we scour allover for the strangest looking gadgets, and then you guess wildly what they are. Today’s edition is a bit different because no one outside of Apple’s elite knows exactly what this prototype 3cm x 3cm touchscreen is for. Your guess is as good as mine. More »

From Htcyou: While Samsung Moment owners recover from the shock that their smartphones are off the FroYo upgrade list, they can take solace in the possibility that Sprint has the sequel, the Samsung Intercept, on tap for a July 11th release. More »

Today’s white back cover iPhone 4G/HD prototype leak completes the Hong Kong white front cover leak in May. Renowned independent Apple repair center PowerBook Medic was sent the photographs from an undisclosed source. More »

In a live interview at D8 with Walt Mossberg, Steve Jobs had some juicy things to say about the whole Gizmodo/Brian J Hogan/Jason Chen iPhone 4G/HD prototype scandal. Initially, Jobs said that the affair was an “ongoing investigation,” but he went on to tell his side of the story, which he called “amazing.” More »

These iPhone 4G/HD prototype leaks are becoming comical. A company that was once so adept at maintaining secrecy of its top products cannot keep its biggest star under wraps. A Hong Kong website has photographs of both a black and a white iPhone 4G, which looks fake. More »

Chen was not home at the time of the initial police break-in but found the crew surrounding his premises. More »

Have you visited Gizmodo lately? For the sake of your intelligence, I suggest that you do not, but since it is my job, I have to. That website has always been Apple-centric (in many ways, so is Ziggytek!), but these past few weeks, it has gone overboard and beyond redemption. The blog is now an Apple operation –except it is unauthorized, just like the stolen iPhone teardown. More »
