The browser war is starting again and this time Chrome OS will be involved. Chrome OS was announced earlier this year to be released in 2010 and this made us realize that web browsers are a big part of our computer. They are our outlet to the Internet, and they help us organize our information in an orderly fashion. So, because choosing a good web browser that fits your personality and tastes is very important for a good Web experience, we’ve decided to put together the 3 best web browsers and write a little bit about each of them to give you an idea of what makes up each one. If you’re like me and hate Windows Mobile OS on a smartphone, then you won’t like the latest news. Apparently Microsoft is going to release 30 new Windows Mobile 6.5 devices by the end of this year, with the latest software being offered in a phone starting on October 6th, 2009.
The new Windows Mobile phones will offer with two new Microsoft services: My Phone and Windows Marketplace for Mobile. My Phone is a service similar to Apple’s MobileMe service, allowing customers to back up and sync, data, information, pictures, videos, contacts and text messages on the web. More »
Last week Motorola introduced their new social networking phone with a new software to take advantage of all its functionalities. Motorola is hoping the new phone, the Cliq (maybe going after a cliquey social networking crowd?) will be the beginning to their resurgence to the top. Motorola has fallen from the top as the number one and they need something big. But the Cliq isn’t the only thing that’s new on Motorola’s end, they also have a new software called Blur. More »
Technology for the blind has been improving every year but never far enough for them to use a device like the iPhone, until now. Designed by Yosi Bar-Cohen, the iPhone would use a “Braille Touch Screen”, similar to that of the braille phone, by Samsung we’ve written about earlier. Yosi thought that Electroactive polymers could work to turn the letters and numbers into braille format so that the visually impaired could actually touch the words.
The responsive screen would form the dots along with the touch of the user, making the user experience on the iPhone much better for them. It is great that the blind finally get to use some great technology and that there are technological advancements out there that can help them. Yosi has done his part to help mankind, now its all up to Apple to implement this into the iPhone as we’ve seen it integrated with their computers already. More »
Snow Leopard is hitting store shelves tomorrow and reviews have been piling on from notable tech bloggers. To make your life easier, we’re going to bring them all in one place, so you won’t have to keep searching for different opinions. More »

Just saw, what looks like the final retail packaging for Snow Leopard, the latest upgrade to the Mac OS X platform. I’m excited and I don’t even know why. To be honest, I’m perfectly happy with Leopard OS X but Snow Leopard is supposed to be faster, easier to use and have better security. I’m all for those things and can’t beat the price of this upgrade, $29. That’s a bargain compared to what Microsoft is going to be charging their users for the Microsoft 7 upgrade.
The release date for the Snow Leopard has been sketchy. Some sources claim that it’ll be released as soon as this week, while many other say it’ll be available sometime after September. If Apple has the software ready to go, thwy should start shipping. They’ll get more exposure with an early release of Snow Leopard. (hit the break for pics) More »
