Looks like Sprint is feeling for those with financial pain of cellular defectors, so they decided to start a promotion. You won’t need to rush too much because you’ve got until April 16th to snag the deal. Sprint will give you 125$ service credit, if you change your current carrier to Sprint and take your number with you. You’ll also have to sign a two-year contract for a smartphone. Don’t want a smartphone? No problem- well… small problem. You’ll get less than half of the original deal and only receive $50 of credit if you’d rather not have a smartphone. More »

It looks like Verizon is testing out a new plan –an Unlimited Nationwide Talk and Text plan for $69.99 in San Diego and Log Angeles retail outlets. Along with the date plan costing $29.99, this looks almost identical to Sprint’s Simply Everything plan. More »

FaceTime is a great concept because it is free, but its being restricted to Wi-Fi (for now) also makes it limited. Fring is an application that allows 3G and Wi-Fi video calling between iPhone 4 owners. Best of all, though, is that Fring is cross-platform and enables callers using Android, Symbian, or iPhone 4 to chat together. More »
