OnLive has been in the works for 8 years and will be launching in the States on the 17th of June. The service provides on-demand streaming of games for PC, Mac, and TV. Costing $14.95 for a monthly subscription and additional charges for game rentals and purchases, OnLive will have big titles such as Borderlands, Assassin’s Creed, Prince of Persia, and Mass Effect 2. Cisco is beginning to tap into a new market, away from networking devices and wireless routers. Their latest piece of tech is the Cisco FlipShare TV, which streams video from your PC straight to your HDTV, so you don’t have to frustrate yourself, squinting at a small little monitor. The entire FlipShare TV system comes in 3 parts, a USB dongle for sending the signal to your PC, a handy remote control, and then there is the main device which acts like a standard cable TV box in order to deliver the signal from the dongle to your TV and is fitted with an HDMI port as well as standard RCA ports for AV. This past weekend I got rid of my PlayStation 3 (the fat one) because I just wasn’t using it at all to justify the extra space it takes up on my desk, not to mention the fact that I’m cleaning all the crap out of my room. But I might have changed my mind had I known Netflix will finally be coming to PS 3 gaming consoles. TV lovers might (keep reading) jump for joy when they hear that a device completely dedicated to streaming live TV, has been released. The Mobile Flo TV is a device that streams live TV straight to the palm of your hand and displays it on a 3.5 inch screen, with 4:3 capacitive touch screen capabilities and built-in stereo speakers. Unfortunately, the device only carries pre-programmed channels and can only stream these channels so you’re out of luck if you don’t watch CNBC, Comedy Central, MSNBC, MTV, NBC, NBC 2 GO, NBC News, and Nickelodeon. Last week, I was hoping and tweeting, there should be a Hulu app for the iPhone so I can watch all the shows returning for the fall, when I’m not near my computer. Of course, there’s rumors floating of a possible Hulu iPhone app but today there was some good news for some iPhone fans, Netflix will be releasing an iPhone, just not right away. More »


Could it be true? Could Netflix be coming to the iPhone? According to Crunchgear, a Netflix exec said that Netflix streaming will be coming to the Nintendo Wii and the iPhone through an app. This means I can still get access to great TV content on the road on my iPhone. This means boring days in the airport waiting for family can actually be entertaining. More »
