It comes with a 4-inch Super AMOLED display instead of Super Clear LCD found on the Galaxy R and it is powered by a single-core 1GHz processor instead of the dual-core Tegra 2. Furthermore, the phone runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and it features a 3-megapixel camera, while the Galaxy R sports a 5-megapixel one. More »

From Ningin: We’re currently in the process of replacing our old servers with new ones across our entire network. These new servers are faster than our old ones and can handle more users at once so they also represent a significant upgrade in page loading speed. The process of doing this is somewhat complicated and will require multiple maintenance windows and thus multiple periods where our sites will be down. The first such window is coming up at 1am - 4am EST (11pm - 2pm PST). The second one is Saturday morning 10am - 1pm EST (6am - 9am PST). In both cases, the total downtime should be about 30mins - 2 hours depending on whether any complexities arises. There are more upgrades beyond the two mentioned, but they shouldn’t result in any downtime or lag. We’re sorry for any inconvenience and we will do everything we can to minimize the downtime.
